The City of Selma is committed to providing transparent government.  Financial transparency is achieved not only by posting financial documents, but also through summaries, charts/graphs, downloadable data and other relevant information.

Tax Rate


The City’s property tax rate of $0.1919 per $100 valuation remains among the lowest in Texas cities with a population of approximately 10,000 residents.  The tax rate is the lowest in the Northeast San Antonio area and has been lowered for 13 straight years.
